Reasons why I prefer to eat vegetarian or vegan:
Peace, Health, Environment, Non-violence, Beauty, Weight, Happiness, Energy, Earth, Feminism, Freedom = End of Slavery for ALL beings.... YUM. For all beings to be happy, free and at peace. Plus, I can eat and eat and eat and NOT GET FAT! I

To share relevant resources and to do my part to add to and share my experiences through this network. To make it easier for everyone to be vegan!
Here are some places I've been that I liked... and places that I would like to visit one day:
Italy (Florence, Rome = awesome gelatti and tons of pasta), Paris (thank you Loving Hut for being one of 2 all-vegan restaurants in the entire city!), Vienna (I actually had vegan wienerschnitzel. nuff said). Barcelona has the vegan veggie burgers covered (they're the size of your head), but no vegan paella.. yet. Portland and Seattle are vegan meccas.

Ohhhhh.... there's waaaaaay too many to list!! Hmmm... I'll admit to being a sucker for Daiya vegan "cheez", especially around holiday times with the very non-vegan family. I love Thai food (Araya's vegan Thai in Seattle!). I'm a great vegan cook/baker if I do say so myself, and I always joke that if the artist lifestyle doesn't pan out, my backup plan is to be a vegan chef. I've been talking for years about writing a recipe book because I make up so many concoctions.. the problem is, I never measure anything!
Here are some books, movies, magazines, and my favorites that I would recommend to other HappyCow members:
Movie: La Belle Verte (The Green Beautiful).. AWESOME French film with English subs.. you can find it on YouTube. Totally pro-veg. Books: Yoga & Vegetarianism by Sharon Gannon. Rawsome by Brigitte Mars (my darling friend).
