More About Me

Reasons why I prefer to eat vegetarian or vegan:
I have chosen to eat vegan for the animals, the environment, and myself. I stongly believe that we as humans were meant to share the planet with all living creature equally, and to live on a plant based diet. I feel better about myself, and my impact on the earth, I am 100% satisfied with my choice, and have seen change in my body both mentally and physically.

Some of my favorite veg*n foods include:
I'm a sucker for salad, I know alot of people say "or your vegan...all you must eat is salad" though it is usually part of my meals at least once a day, it is now all I eat.I love baking or making raw dessert, Vegan Shepards pie is AMAZING I make mine with crushed lentils, celery carrots onions herbs potatoes, corn lots of yummy stuff. I love cooking, Im always in the kitchen creating something, there is never a moment where I feel that I dont know what to eat :)

Here are some books, movies, magazines, and my favorites that I would recommend to other HappyCow members:
The book that first intruiged me and played a big part of me becoming vegan was "Skinny B**ch" Ive also seen the movies Earthling, and Food Inc, and cant wait for Forks over Knives, and Unity. Im currently reading two books, Vegan Freak, by Bob and Jenna Torres, and The China Study, by Dr Campbell, and both are AMAZING!
