Reasons why I prefer to eat vegetarian or vegan:
When I learned 25 yrs ago of the cruelties we inflict on other beings, I could not go veg fast enough. I've been veg ever since, vegan for 17. It's the single most important decision I have ever made in my life.
I joined HappyCow Members Community because:
To commune with other vegans of course! Plus, happycow is the hub of locating vegan eats!

I've worked a lot on improving the site, still so much to do.
When you have a chance, please try to upload an avatar again. It should work. There was a file someone tried to upload clogging the system from a couple days ago.
Will you also let me know what you felt was difficult/confusing about updating your profile?
