I am a 39 year old Vegan, Atheist, Environmentalist who loves living in my favorite place in the world, San Francisco/Northern California. I am a Project Engineer for Dolby Laboratories, www.dolby.com , here in San Francisco and enjoy what I do. Audio/Music has always been a passion of mine and it is great to do it for a career. It's amazing to see our technologies used in movie theaters, recording/broadcast studios and so many places in peoples' lives (Surround Sound, 3D, etc). I'm also an artist/musician and play in 3 bands: Ninth Circuit (my own band, Vocals, guitar, bass, keyboards, drums), www.ninthcircuitband.com ; Ion High (Vocals, guitar, bass, keyboards), www.myspace.com/ionhigh , and RMJ (Vocals, guitar, bass, keyboards). I write/compose/record/edit/mix a lot of the music and my lyrics often deal with animal rights/compassion, the environment, social justice, liberal/progressive causes, San Francisco/Northern California, West Coast Separatism and other topics that are important to me. I love Redwoods, Victorian homes/architecture, hills/mountains, waterfalls, rivers, the Pacific Ocean, cliffs, vegan food, great beer/wine, valleys, green living and everything that San Francisco/Northern California provides. I love nature and all animals (including dogs and cats). I feel strongly that humans are headed for disaster through overpopulation, over-consumerism, greed, self-centeredness but also am cautiously optimistic that things can improve if good conscience people do the right thing and influence others to follow their lead. I believe the future of this planet is far too important to be passive and worry about offending people. I will always fight the GOOD FIGHT no matter what anyone thinks! I have a wonderful Vegan, Atheist girlfriend that shares a lot of my passions and views. Note: As a former Vegetarian, now Vegan, I think it is important to remind Vegetarians that cows that produce the dairy they consume are tortured, have to be continually impregnated, their calves taken away to be caged for veal and eventually killed themselves.
