I am a vegan who loves food. I love to cook, and I love trying out vegan cafes and restaurants. I love vegan baking and surprising non vegans with the joys of vegan food.
I live in New Zealand with my husband, we just moved here from Sydney Australia and life is very different these days.
If you are ever on the South Island, let me know, we'll meet up, I'd love to meet more vegan travellers.

More About Me
Reasons why I prefer to eat vegetarian or vegan:
I believe in non violence and I want my food choices to reflect that.
I believe in health through fresh food.. not dead food.
I don't think that we have the right to slaughter animals for our own benefit.
I believe life is valuable and I have no right to end the life of an animal for any reason.
I joined HappyCow Members Community because:
I found happycow while searching for vegetarian restaurants in Sydney when I had just moved here. I found the site so valuable that I have returned again and again.
Here are some places I've been that I liked... and places that I would like to visit one day:
I have travelled extensively around Australia and the South Island in New Zealand. I also spent a significant amount of time travelling through South East Asia: Thailand, Laos, Cambodia, Vietnam, Indonesia, Singapore. I love to travel and would like to visit every country in the world.
