More About Me
Reasons why I prefer to eat vegetarian or vegan:
I don't want to add on to the suffering of animals. I don't believe that animals are ours to eat, or ours for any reason at all. Every creature is born free to be part of this earth.
I joined HappyCow Members Community because:
Sometimes I feel lonely as a vegan. I want to meet like-minded people. I also prefer to be in romantic relationships with other vegans or at least vegetarians.
Here are some places I've been that I liked... and places that I would like to visit one day:
I've liked everywhere I've been. Every place has its own personality. I've loved Armenia, Karabagh, Mexico, San Francisco, Yosemite, Monterey, Carmel, and Las Vegas. I love beaches and want to travel by sea. I would like to visit Australia, New Zealand, England, Greece, and France.
Some of my favorite veg*n foods include:
I love dark green salads, and bitter-tasting vegetables. I love pasta and lentils. I love my mom's home-made Armenian and middle-eastern food. I hate eating by myself, and like to always share my food.
Here are some books, movies, magazines, and my favorites that I would recommend to other HappyCow members:
Right now, I'm reading, "The Complete Idiot's Guide to Vegan Living."
Don't judge it by the title......vegans aren't idiots at all...it has great information on nutrition, the lastest updates, and great recipies. It also gives info on how to deal with non-vegans/vegetarians who ask the typical questions. I also recently picked up, "VegNew" magazine, and it has really cool, informative articles in it.
