Reasons why I prefer to eat vegetarian or vegan:
I prefer to eat vegetarian for health and environmental reasons. I am also all for animal rights. I believe that a vegetarian diet is the next step in the evolution of humanity and compassionate eating is a sign of an intelligent being able to look beyond societal norms and think for themselves.
I joined HappyCow Members Community because:
I just moved to Minnesota and was looking for restaurant reviews for vegetarian restaurants. I stumbled across it and loved it.
Here are some places I've been that I liked... and places that I would like to visit one day:
I love Pensacola Beach. It is where I grew up. I enjoyed living in Orlando simply for the variety of vegetarian options. I want to travel to Egypt and other Mid-East countries one day. Australia and Japan are also high ranking on the list.

I enjoy almost any Indian food. I also love breakfast cereals.
Here are some books, movies, magazines, and my favorites that I would recommend to other HappyCow members:
I don't know of anything specifically vegetarian, but I am a well-known to my friends as a movie buff and avid reader. I love almost anything by Dean Koontz - especially his Odd Thomas series. More along the line of self-help, I recommend "Your Perfect Right." It is a book about becoming more assertive.
