I joined HappyCow Members Community because:
I want to be able to communicate with like-minded people, exchange information, and give/receive support.
Here are some places I've been that I liked... and places that I would like to visit one day:
I have been camping to many places in California (Anza Borrego, Joshua Tree, Kings Canyon, beaches around Santa Barbara, etc.) and would love to explore more of Northern CA. India and Sri Lanka were great to visit and I don't think I will ever go to Kyrgyzstan again.:)
Some of my favorite veg*n foods include:
I like Chinese, Ethiopian, Indian food etc.,even though it is hard to find vegan Indian dishes (have to watch out for ghee and milk).I enjoy soy fake meats but prefer vegetables and beans. Vegetable Delight and Garden Wok (San Fernando Valley) have lamb (vegan) dish made with Chinese mushrooms - try it if you like meat imitations.
Here are some books, movies, magazines, and my favorites that I would recommend to other HappyCow members:
it is hard to list, i enjoy watching good movies...the recent one was "What the Bleep Do We Know" - it was pretty deep
