Congratulations on starting your HappyCow group. 

You are now the Moderator for this group.
To help you grow your group, we've come up with a list of tips to assist you.

1 - Be sure to create a clear description about your group and its purpose.

2 - Upload a custom avatar (photo) to make your group interesting and unique.

3 - Write a first announcement to your group members, and keep frequent updates.  An announcement may include colorful text, a photo, or even a video.

4 - Keep Active
a) Start discussion threads and ask your group members for feedback.
b) Upload relevant photos and videos. 
c) Start a poll and get members to vote an issue of concern (note: to start a poll, simply email a request).

5 - Invite other HappyCow Members to join your group
a) If you already know other members on the site, write a message on their Chat page or PM them with your groups info. 
b) You may write to 3 other members each day (or email us, and we will increase that). 
c) You can also use the Search function at the top of your profile page and search for members in cities nearby you. 
d) Or, visit the View All Members page (once logged in: http://www.happycow.net/members/members_list.php) and sort members by location.

As you get ideas of how we can improve HappyCow Groups, please share them with us by direct email or online in the Community Forum.

- For your safety, please DO NOT post your telephone number or mailing address on the forum.
- A Group that attack a person or any groups of people (e.g.. racist, sexist, or other hate based) will NOT be tolerated. Creating such a Group will result in immediate termination of your account.
- A Group left un-moderated for more than 7 days may be subject to deletion or be assigned a new moderator by the webmaster.
- A Group having less than two (2) members after 10 days of existence is subject to deletion.
- If your email address becomes invalid, we will temporarily suspend your group.
- Any Group created for commercial self-promotion is subject to deletion.
- HappyCow reserves the right to remove or to assign a new moderator at any time upon our own discretion.
