I am a born vegetarian. I am a Chef by profession and passion. Now, working as a Executive Chef for a health food start up.

Even though I have tried cooking most fo the foods I prefer to be a Vegetarian. Love to feed people and to create Original real veggie recipes to suit everybody's palate. I am totally against using imitation meat and calling it by meat names. I refuse to go to those type of restaurants who call it Vegan and Vegetarian and serve mock meat!

Hope to contribute and learn at the same time!

Obviously you are entitled to do whatever you like but I see nothing wrong with using tofu in any of it's forms. A friend and I got together yesterday and made a very yummy "scramble" using a spicy sausage style tofu. It didn't remind me of meat at all but it added a great texture to the dish. Trader Joes also makes some really yummy meatless sausage that I like to chop up and saute with onions and pepper and serve it over rice or potatoes. Yum, I'm hungry.
