Favorite Veg*n Cookbooks?

I think the most important tools for going veg*n are the cookbooks, so which ones do you just love?

Mine are (in no real order):

Anything by Isa Chandra Moskowitz, but especially Vegan With a Vengeance (I'm currently reading The Veganomicon and Vegan Brunch; so far, excellent!),
The Clueless Vegetarian by Evelyn Raab,
1,000 Vegetarian Recipes by Carol Gelles (and she ain't kidding, either!), and
Vegan Lunchbox Around the World by Jennifer McCann

anything from Victoria Boutenko or her kids, Serg and Val.

Have you tried The Vegan Sourcebook, by Joanne Stepaniak? It's a nice starter book because it has lots of info not just recipes.

I love Isa's books also! Eat, Drink and be Vegan is good. We get a lot of recipes online also. Vegweb is good as it has reviews.

Tal Ronnen's Conscious Cook is awesome. The "chicken" piccata is so good that my son will eat seconds. It calls for a dry white wine - I find the flavor is better if you stick with a white that's a little sweeter.

Giada de Laurentis from the Food Network alos has some pasta recipes that are made without meat. They are easy to find on their website.

Is anyone else obsessed with vegan cookbooks besides me?

It seems like I can't get enough of them! If I buy one more my husband is actually going to force me to start using some of the recipes! eye popping smiley

I usually just use them to get great ideas and then go off on my own from there.

Just curious is anyone else has a thing for vegan cookbooks.
Maybe they help remind me I'm not the only one around, even though it feels that way sometimes.

Ya, Conscious Cook by Tal Ronnen is one of my favourites, as is Vegan Cupcakes take over the World, by Isa Chandra Moskowitz. I like the cashew cheese from Conscious Cook. I also like Fire & Spice by Robin Robertson. Then there's tofu 1-2-3 by Maribeth Abrams, that I have never seen anywhere else than the place I bought it. The vegan spinach dip recipe in it is awesome.
