Hello fairygirl. How making a decision that is beneficial to your health, the planet and animals can ever be called wrong is beyond me.
This decision you have made is one of the best decisions you'll ever make.
I can understand people's concerns but that is because they don't know any better. You can educate them in showing that a veggie diet is the healthiest in the world.
There is more effort involved with a veggie diet - don't just think you can eat exactly the same as before minus the meat - that is not the right way to go.
You will need to include lots of pulses (quinoa, beans, chickpeas) as well as fresh fruits and veggies and not forgetting healthy oils as well (omega 6, LNA).
If you are vegan then I suggest you take a B12 supplement too.
