My name is KT, Duh... I've been Vegatarain for 4 months now, and very proud of it, my friends sometimes support me, and my family try. But my brother always questions me.
I'm only 14, so its hard to veggie sometimes, as my family are all meat eater. But I'm trying my best!

I'm proud of everyone who at age 14 makes this decision and hopes that he/she has the tenacity and the support to stick with it.
There's a great book that I recently read (and that prompted me to go from vegetarian to vegan after 20 years of being vegetarian) ... that is Jonathan Safran Foer's 'Eating animals'. I can not praise it enough, it is a wonderful, well written book with a lot of interesting facts concerning food. It might give you a lot of good arguments if you need these, and it might be helpful in convincing others about your choice. So do check it out!

i am so glad you made the decision to be veggie, and i know how hard it is to be young and veggie and not have anyone supporting you. i am in the same position. i am a couple of years younger than you and my parents dont want me to be veggie because they dont think that i get the right nutrition. one of my four sisters was veggie but turned back to eating meat when she got pregnant. i was sad at that. i hope you can stay veggie even though others may put you off.
