Greetings fellow veg*ns,
Have you every been to a destination and no matter how you tried you could not get them to understand your vegan requirements. You tried your best using the phrase book, acted out chicken noises, goat speak and pig oinks stressing no, no, no. But all this effort to no avail as they brought you out a chicken/goat/pig pie with fried phrase book on the side. Well then this may help you in those difficult moments, the Vegan Passport, a book with all that the restaurant needs to know about your preferences. I have used it in Poland, Iceland and Russia and its been a great help. "where can we get one of these life saving books" i hear you say, well the vegan society UK sells them:
Vegan Society Vegan Passport
And also Amazon with a seller in the US has some:
Amazon US Vegan Passport
So if you want to travel but cannot speak the language then this is the book for you. I am afraid it does not come with chips (fries) or a side order of salad but still worth the cash.
