On the surface, veg*nism and skiing don't have much in common. However, it's a real treat to dine afterwards with compassionate people who don't bother you about your dietary choices. Ski lodge menus are often crammed with meat; sharing food potluck-style during lunch might be as amazing as fresh powder. Let's start a nationally-focused group with the goal of organizing a yearly ski trip to an eco-friendly mountain! Let's also talk about other ways skiing and veg*nism intersect.

I like Park City. The restaurant Chimayo and one of its sister restaurants (the Asian one) always have had one vegan option when I've been there. There is also an inexpensive Thai restaurant downtown, a sushi place (for edamame, miso soup and veggie roll), and a great health food store.
