Yeah, im not too sure there's a vested interest in making the vegans of STL happy.
However, there is a blog dedicated to finding vegan places in the Midwest here. I haven't looked at it too much, but last week there was a recipe for vegan toasted ravs, a st. louis favorite! well, take out the vegan part hehe.

i get those butternut squash raviolis often. They are awesome! I'll do the oil free battering on them next time and see if I can make them better than her nonfried version

Yeah with Eternity gone, I too have lost my reason for living here!!! Hopefully I'll be going to Chicago soon! [You three are leaving anyway -- even more reason for me to go!]
You guys need to try the new Veggie Bite location in Chicago -- I had the Philly Cheese Steak! AWESOME!

Also, do NOT go to Beso, the new restaurant where Red was ... my mom got sick X( after she ate there and there was nothing really vegan friendly on the menu aside from the salad that made her sick.

You guys should try that Thai Kitchen off of Dorsett. They don't put fish oil in their curries. I always get the Musamon [totally misspelled] curry with tofu! Oh hell yeah!!!

Schlafly Bottleworks has a lot of vegan options, according to alex's fair-weather vegan sister. We should check it out! or there's always terene (although if I bring my boyfriend it's likely he will eat a steak in front of us!)

Yeah, there is this place that advertised Vegan and Vegetarian options in the RFT this past month. I need to get a copy of it because I forgot what place it was. Let me know when you're available.

Don't forget about that other place in Maplewood that's part owned by the Carol House brother. I think Monday nights are veg/vegan night where they have a special AND they always have a vegan sloppy joe on the menu.
