I adore my Excalibur! I have a 9 tray, but a 5 should be suficient for anyone. There are 5 people here at any given time and I rarely use mroe than 5 trays. Just be sure not to set it too high. It's also a great way to warm up food and soups.
I have a Nesco right now. It lacks to timer that the Excalibur has and it is strangely doughnut shaped. Right now it works fine for my needs, but I hope to eventually upgrade.
I have a 9 tray Excalibur and really like it. I usually use it at least twice a week and it is usually full or close to full each time. I looked at others before I made my purchase and decided that this was the one for me.
