It is almost time for this years VegFest: [nwveg.org] I plan to be there and it would be great to meet any of you who are going too! So who is planning to be there next weekend?

Thanks for posting. I'll be at VegFest. We're going to have Neal Barnard of PCRM and lots of other great speakers and chef demos, and of course a lot of good food. I'll be giving a talk in one of the small rooms on Sunday at 5 on environmental consequences of the foods we choose to eat. Hope to see you there.

I would have loved to except that I'm living in Berlin now. Veg Fest is great though and I can't believe I'm going to miss getting to hear Neal Bernard in person. Have a wonderful time. Portland is known worldwide, I've realized, for being Vegan Wonderland. :-)

I want to apologize for somehow missing your previous posts about Forks Over Knives and to thank you for all the wonderful work you so consistently do! Also, please know that you are welcomed and encouraged to post here yourself for NW-Veg or any other relevant news, events & issues.

I actually did see you briefly in passing yesterday at VegFest and while I am not able to return today, I really enjoyed yesterday. I have gone to all of the VegFest's since it was in the basement of that church in SW/downtown Portland and each year it keeps getting bigger & better! Though in many ways the cozy feeling of the first VegFest was quite nice too... I guess we can get a good taste of that at many of the other events, such as potlucks.
