(GRRRR I just typed all this up and lost it, lets see if I can remember it all. Damn computers!!)
I'm very careful with the animal products I do consume. I know that some of the animals live terrible lives but I'm careful it what I do consume. I only eat eggs from my own chickens (which we recently saved from a barn-hen situation) and well, milk etc is a different story. I try to only eat milk, yogurt, cheese etc from in Australia because the cows here a pretty well looked after. They have large green pastures and are looked after by loving farmers. We're lucky to have a large country and be able to do this. So I try hard to do the best thing for the animals.
But yes, one day I will spend some time being vegan. I plan to last at least a year.
Hey did you know that one popular brand of bacon bits (I don't know which one) is vegan???!!! I couldn't believe it when I heard. They made a meat product with out meat haha. But they do that often. Though I do try to stay away from fake meats. They're very processed and I try to also stay away from processed foods.
And don't worry about some of the sites being UK based. Vegeratianism is basically the same in all western countries and carbon footprint is only one thing. I can still quote the sites and they are reputable.
As for honey, my boyfriends uncle is a manager of Capillano Honey and they love their bee's apparently, so as long as I buy Capillano I guess I'll be safe. Though isn't the point of being vegan to not eat any animal products because they come from animals?? I don't know haha
Thanks again for your help so far!!
