The map feature doesn't work for addresses in Colombia - and perhaps many other countries in Latin America.
Is it possible to add a feature to correct restaurant locations if the ones guessed by Google Maps based on the address are wrong?
True, there are areas which are not yet working for Google maps, but I believe that Colombia is now functioning. Is it possible that you'll help with this and send us a list of places that need to be re-coded?
You could send us just the venue ID, like for:
(just send us the ID like, 11367)
Also, if we can't figure them out, maybe you can help by sending a link to the actual location on Google maps?
Let me know. Thanks. -Eric
I've checked every place listed on Bogot?, and it would be shorter to just send you the IDs of the places that DON'T need fixes:
24283 is off by just one block.
21871 because the address needs fixing. Will try to do it ASAP.
23586 seems to be right.
All the others are wrong, and 17822 is the worst offender ? it doesn't even appear on the right continent.
I've just re-geo-coded the Bogota listings. Please have a look and let me know which ones are still incorrect.
The format for addresses is different with each country and I believe this is part of the issue with the Bogota listings.
If possible, please send links to correct maps in Google Maps along with the venue IDs.
Well, the problems seem to be even worse on the new listings. The ones you recoded seem to be working, but the following ones are off (only the ones I'm 100% sure about):
19093, 23729 and 23731 are off by about a kilometer.
10091 and 23896 are off by less than that.
22286, 21871, 6228, 20574 and 14587 are too far off to measure.
2703 and 15452 are wrong but I don't know their correct locations.
