Hello Everyone!
My name is Joyce and I have been a vegetarian for two years and my husband of twenty years recently 'converted' to vegetarianism. I belong to several online vegetarian and veggie Christian groups. My husband and I are the only vegetarians we know. My decision to become a vegetarian was mostly a matter of consistency: adopting a vegetarian diet reflects my faith beliefs (as well as in line with my environment and animal welfare) and how I believe that we are to interact with the world as Christians. As such I see meat eating and Christianity as being totally incompatible. The Christians in my life (and non) are sympathetic but somewhat clueless!

You are so righton!!!! Meat eating and Christianity are totally incompatible, especially in today's modern factory farmed world. Have you read the book Dominion by Matthew Scully??? I highly recommend!
