Where is your favourite restaurant in Australia? What makes it so wonderful?

Pure Wholefoods, Manly NSW

Pure is a cafe just up from Manly Beach. It's not all vegan but it is mostly vegan. They serve small bites like felafel, tofu patties, veggie patties & rice balls. They make great rice milk lattes and fresh juices and smoothies. They do meals like gluten free buckwheat pancakes, veggie burgers and dahl.

They have lots of food avail. for different dietary requirements: soy free, gluten free etc

(apart from good food, relaxed atmosphere, fast/friendly service, a handy big community table right at the front for single dining, a vast menu..)

it's really my favourite because it was the first formal vegetarian/vegan restaurant i ever went to!. and it will remain such a happy and prolific memory for me just cozza that.

i love the veggie bar

I went to Yulli's on Crown St last weekend and I was so impressed! The menu is all vegetarian but almost everything can be made vegan and they have lots of gluten free options as well.

My favourite meals were the leek and ginger dumplings, dolmades, baby burritos and the fantastic mango tapioca pudding with coconut ice cream (the only vegan dessert).
