I too am fairly new,I have been into many chat forums for animals where it didn't turn out so well,I ended up with a virus, but now I have a better anti-virus protection,I hope

....I never did care for meat as I had a hard time swallowing,I did eat chicken only during my pregnancy, its odd how most people get the taste of meat its rather hard to break that habit.I do believe the saying:"We are what we eat"also we become what we eat.I support peta.org the techniques are some times rough but I can understand their purposes.I often wondered would it be better to put the animals out of their painful on going miseries? or just let these poor helpless animals suffer during these on going experiments? I recently bought a cat from a shelter where she was used in a lab,she trusted no one/
thats so heart breaking, when I took her to my own vet.I was shocked at what I had heard,my new cat had no liver because of cancer;she suffered with this for a very long time in the lab & in this shelter.
I wrote a letter of concern & disappointment as to the conditions this cat was in and allowed to be sold to yet another owner which was me.I knew I would have taken her under any conditions, rather than see her go through any more terrible painful lab tests. Peace ..
