Hi I'm Tony and I consider myself a Simpletarian. You ask what is that? A vegan who eats very simple meals with no more than four to five items. I soak all nuts for three hours before eating them. Then I make nutbutter from them. This is nutbutter sans oil. (made with my Cuisinart Pro countertop) Tastes great. Meals generally consist of two veggies and a nut. Maybe a nut pattie with pure Carob syrup for desert. No seasoning of any kind. Ok maybe a little Sea Salt. I live in Southern California. Sometimes I lightly steam the veggies and purree them. Make an Almond Butter crust from pure Almond Butter pour in the veggies and bake for a few mins. Takes some getting used to but it improves the taste for veggies in their original state. Any more Simpletarians out there?
