A life well lived...

All this talk of religion, but it's how you live your life that is the all-important thing. If you set out each day to do all the goodness and kindness that you can, and to do no harm to man or beast, then you are walking the highest path. And when your time is up, if you can leave the earth a better place than you found it, then yours will have been a life well lived.

Completely disagree. I think if you set out each day promising not to drive 35 in the left lane, then you have done well.

Yoda-talkin' passive sentences makes one wise not, nor contemplative. Focused on death for too long, you will forget to live. Why is that anyhow, to examine if something is right or wrong you have to bring up your deathbed? Just be real.

It is incredible how anyone can find fault in your powerful / positive post "Knight of Albion".

"HappyCow" is a very positive site.

Preach the wisdom of staying out of the left lane. Its sinful to drive 35 up in the left. When you die, you'll know you hath lived well by staying in the right lane! Be noble, stay right. Danger lurks in the left lane

"The worst sin is to drive 35 in the Left Lane, lo, they hath no path in the Left, they drive there anyway."

"The righteous man does not drive in the Left Lane, only stays put in the right lane fearing the wilderness of speed that lies on the Left; Stay right and preach!!!"

An optimist of the truest nature wakes up every morn to find the Left Lane uncrowded by the slow and weary.

All remember this holiday season the true reason for gathering, to celebrate speed of the left and the conservatism of the right Lanes. Choose a life and stick to it; "Don't make me pass you on the Right!!!"

Knightofalbion - well said! What a nice blueprint for living.

JohnnySensible - Thanks for those great quotes!

Kindlizard - not driving slowly on the left is a great example of Johnny's quote on not being indifferent to others. Thanks!
