Interview Questions
Can you please answer these questions for my school assignment I value any input and would love if there were a few different views.
1. What do you know about vegetarianism?



2. Do you believe that being a vegetarian is healthy?



3. Why/why not?



4. When you think of a vegetarian what comes to mind?



5. Do you believe that restaurants and cafes offer enough vegetarian options?




6. Is there enough variety of vegetarian options other than just salads?




7. When you go to a restaurant do you notice if there are any vegetarian options?



8. Are they hidden/ not made clear?



9. How often do you have a vegetable based meal? (the vegetables the main part of the meal)



10. Would you choose to eat a vegetarian meal every now and then?



11. Why/ why not?

1. What do you know about vegetarianism?

It's a compassionate dietary choice which benefits animals, the environment, and the individual.

2. Do you believe that being a vegetarian is healthy?

Yes.

3. Why/why not?

It has been shown to reduce the incidence of heart disease and obesity.

4. When you think of a vegetarian what comes to mind?

A compassionate individual, capable of applying logic and empathy into their daily routine.

5. Do you believe that restaurants and cafes offer enough vegetarian options?

I think there are certainly improvements to be made, but many restaurants are seeing that offering plant based cuisine can be a huge draw.

6. Is there enough variety of vegetarian options other than just salads?

This varies widely depending on location. I live in Los Angeles currently, so the answer is yes.


7. When you go to a restaurant do you notice if there are any vegetarian options?

Yes, I only eat vegan food so I pay close attention.

8. Are they hidden/ not made clear?

Depending on the restaurant there may be ambiguities. However, a friendly question or two usually clears things up.

9. How often do you have a vegetable based meal? (the vegetables the main part of the meal)

Every single meal.

10. Would you choose to eat a vegetarian meal every now and then?

Yes, I choose to have a vegan meal all the time.

11. Why/ why not?

I am not interested in supporting an industry which creates such gratuitous suffering.

1. What do you know about vegetarianism?

It is a diet/way of life in which animal flesh is excluded from the diet of those who follow it. Vegetarianism has existed for a very long time, and there are several different kinds of vegetarianism as well as various reasons why its adherents choose it.



2. Do you believe that being a vegetarian is healthy?

Yes.



3. Why/why not?

Studies have shown that it is.



4. When you think of a vegetarian what comes to mind?

A person who excludes animal flesh from his/her diet.



5. Do you believe that restaurants and cafes offer enough vegetarian options?

Yes, most of them do.




6. Is there enough variety of vegetarian options other than just salads?

Yes, most restaurants offer a good variety of vegetarian options.






7. When you go to a restaurant do you notice if there are any vegetarian options?

Yes.



8. Are they hidden/ not made clear?

Usually it seems pretty obvious which dishes are vegetarian.



9. How often do you have a vegetable based meal? (the vegetables the main part of the meal)

Vegetables are almost always included on a daily basis in my lunch and dinner, although, as a lacto-ovo vegetarian, dairy products and/or eggs are very frequently included as well.


10. Would you choose to eat a vegetarian meal every now and then?

All of my meals are vegetarian.



11. Why/ why not?

Because I am a vegetarian.
