Personally, I wouldn' go with either. I would more likely recommend either one of Sarma Melngailis' books or Raw by Charlie Trotter and Roxanne Klein.
Sarma - great book - but a shame that she cannot beat / hide her honey addiction!
Charlie Trotter - I would not support him by buying anything that he writes - he cooks / eats any animal he comes across - I suspect that he might eat raw human foetuses if it were legal!

I haven't read either of the ones you posted, but I like Rawsome (has great sprouting recipes) and in a less culinary but more fun to read book way, I like Ani Phyo's books.
