Possible Ban on Fur in Israel

Although the Israeli government isn't usually at the forefront of welfare issues for the right reasons, I was pleased to find out that the Israeli Minister for Justice, Yaakov Neeman, has put forward an initiative to ban the sale and production of fur in Israel. It seems that even PETA is congratulating him on this one: action.petaasiapacific.com/ea-campaign/clientcampaign.do?ea.client.id=110&ea.
