Plutarch was a vegetarian Greek historian, writer, and thinker


Lived: around 46 AD to 120 AD
Birth place: Chaeronea, Boeotia (Greece)






About: Plutarch, born Mestrius Plutarchus, was a Greek historian, biographer, essayist, and philosopher.

Plutarch studied mathematics and philosophy at the Academy of Athens and later worked as a magistrate and ambassador in addition to being a priest.

Plutarch's best-known work is the Parallel Lives, a series of biographies of famous Greeks and Romans.
