Moby, whose birth name is Richard Melville Hall, is an American musician and the co-author of the cookbook Teany. Teany is also the name of this vegetarian restaurant in New York City.

Moby first rose to fame with many hit singles in the UK for his techno music. One of his hit album is called Play. Priority to performing on his own, Moby played in punk bands.

Moby is a long-time vegetarian who supports animal rights.
