About: Genius / GZA is a rapper from the Wu Tang Clan and widely recognized as one of the best lyricists in hip-hop. He grew up in Brooklyn, New York and formed the Wu Tang Clan along with his cousins RZA and Ol' Dirty Bastard. The Wu Tang Clan's first record "Enter the Wu Tang (36 Chambers)" released in 1993 was a massive critical and commercial success. Genius / GZA's solo album "Liquid Source" (1995) was named by Source magazine as one of the top 100 hip-hop albums of all time. He became a vegetarian in the mid-90s. In an interview with Eater.com in July 2010 he said, 'I wasn't raised a vegetarian, I wish I was, though. I mean, that's really the best way to go. I just learned at a young age and stopped eating some things. As far as being a vegetarian it's a moral thing, a health thing, a conscious thing — a combination of all. I think it's better to be that way.' Fellow Wu Tang Clan Members RZA, Method Man and Masta Killa are also vegetarians.
