Abraham Lincoln was NOT a vegetarian... he was a great man, but he does not need to be on this list. Please correct the list.

As far as I know, he was quoted as saying "I am in favor of animal rights as well as human rights. Animals should not be consumed but should be viewed as prized gifts from God. That is the way of a whole human being." However, to say that he was a veg'n because he made that quote is a stretch. It merely means that he was in favor of it, but whether he would realistically have been able to lead that lifestyle is highly dubious.
