This is a gem of a restaurant, taking the idea of vegetarian (and pescatorian) far away from the cheese salad, or the more sophisticated vegetarian lasagne. The menu is limited, but to me that always means real food - individually cooked. The ingredients are local and organic, where possible, and obviously top quality. Vegans can eat here, too. The dishes are imaginative, and, while some of the names are familiar - wild and tame mushroom ragu, spiced pumpkin pie, tirumisu - the range of flavours are delicious and exciting. The music is different, the service is friendly, the wines and beers are outstanding and the atmosphere is intimate. This is a place to eat languorously and sensuously over a couple of hours, rather than gobble and go. Enjoy, we did.
