Vegetarian cafe. See website for live music & events. Located in Oslo's oldest squat, Blitz, in Pilestredet 33E. Newly renovated Aug 2010. A decent selection of sandwiches and baguettes, plus one main dish every day. The main dish is usually 40 NOK, and not always vegan. The sandwiches start at around 20 NOK, and there's always a vegan alternative. Also famous for their waffles (not vegan), 5 NOK. Coffee is 5 NOK. During summer and Christmas, Blitz might be closed or only open for a few hours each day. Open Mon-Fri 12-6pm, closed Sat-Sun.
