Bij José vegetarian restaurant. There is no set menu. Offers 3 dishes each day, made based on what produce is available and in season (mostly organic). One dish is vegan. You can choose a soup to start and a dessert from assorted tarts and pies. Has organic wines. Open Tue-Sun 17.30-21.00. Directions: Kelfkensbos is within walking distance of Nijmegen centre, from the market square go uphill through the pedestrian area, past Halfords, then about 100 metres further you will find the restaurant on the right side.

A place for students, squatters, activists, and leftwing idealists located in the former squat De Grote Broek (squatted in 1984) in the city-centre. It's voluntary owned and the political centre of this student city. On Saturday and Sunday a day menu with three courses offered, and the food can be made vegan upon request. Reservation is required by calling in advance. On Wednesday is the Soup Café from 18:30-20:00, resevervation not necessary, and price is by donation. On Satuday afternoon is a Lunch Café with vegan cake. Reservations required. Wheelchair accessible. Cash only. Open Sat-Sun 18.30-22.00, Wed 18.30-20.00.
