Restaurant with accommodation in 'trulli', the stone houses with conical roofs typical of the region. Grow their own organic fruit and veggies. Set menu that consists of 6 courses. Dishes are vegetarian but can be adapted to vegan on request. Chef speaks some English but not all serving staff do. First two courses of nibbles and starters, then two pasta courses, then the main course followed by ice cream for vegetarians and bowl of cherries for vegans (ask if you can have fruit instead of ice cream), plus coffee. With all the courses, service takes a while. Pleasant setting for a long, leisurely lunch. Follow signs from Supermercato CS for Il Portico. Has outdoor seating. Lunch only. Begins between 1-1:30pm. Possibly open Sat evening.
