Grænn Kostur or The Green Choice. Daily specials are popular, served with rice, salads, sauces and bread. The same goes for the soup of the day with hummus and bread. Also serves spinach bake, Indian bake, hummus, various salads and bread buns. For dessert various cakes, cookie and raw cakes. Large portions. No white flour, processed sugar or yeast used; some dairy products. Uses organic grown and fresh raw materials if possible. Offers a vegan basil mint dressing. Directions: go to the car park on Bergstadastræti to get into the restaurant. Open Mon-Sat 11.30-9.00, Sun 1.00-9.00.

Offers crepes and lasagna on the menu, as well as cakes and cookies. Cafe drinks including coffee, tea, beer & wine. Has a vegan carrot cake for around 700 kr and chamomile soy latte. The owner seems to be a transplant from New York City who uses his own recipes for everything made there, including New York Cheesecake & chocolate cake (with dairy and egg). Has wi-fi.
