Subject: 'Icelandic cheese is not vegetarian' Posted by fucura on: Sunday, November 07, 2010 at 05:12 PM PST Unfortunately, all Icelandic cheeses are made using animal-dreived rennet (ostahleypir in Icelandic) so Vegetarians need to be aware. Foreign, vegetarian cheeses can be found in a specialist cheese store however, they can be very expensive!
