Travel Notes: Bath is a designated World Heritage city because of the Roman Baths (the best preserved Roman ruins in Europe) and the Georgian splendour of its architecture. The little city of Bath (home of writer Jane Austen) is amazingly bohemian and interesting. It has several vegetarian restaurants and even a vegetarian pub, but best of all, it has many excellent restaurants who are knowlegable about vegetarian food and serve a choice of excellent vegetrarian options. Bath also has terrific ethnic food, which offer a wide choice of vegetarian dishes,inclluding Lebanese, Turkish, Japanese, Chinese, Indain, Thai and Indonesian.
