Watch out if you take a taxi cab in Sofia. I had 2 (and I was there for less than 48 hours) who were very unscrupulous in their determination to make some cash. There is a good tram and trolley bus service in Sofia to make getting around cheap and easy.

Does anyone know if a vegetarian coeliac can eat out anywhere in Bulgaria safely- that is - no meat, no fish, no gluten?
Do restaurants in Bulgaria know about special diets?
thanks

Dream House is good - just hard to find ! You must walk into underpass/shopping center, then go through a metal door that you'll see on your left, THEN walk upstairs (1-2 flights)
