Also not on the list is this fantastic restaurant which has been around for over 20 years. It is at 201 Faraday street in Carlton (off Lygon street). They have a range of really delicious entrees, mains and deserts, all vegetarian (vegan options). Non vegetarians love the food too and it draws on different types of cusines. Also, unlike some vegetarian places, it is a nice place to sit down and have a meal. Highly recommended (I don't own the place or anything). Further information at ww.shakahari.com.au/

Hi, I can't believe you don't have Romancing the Veg on here! It is amazing - cheap, mostly organic, huge servings... my favourite vegie place in Melbourne and I've been to almost all of them on your page! I'm vegan and picky and I go all the way to Mt Waverley from Brunswick about once a week to go to Romancing... It may be zone 2 but it is worth it!
