Typical jae restaurant (Thai veg), opened in Sept 2012. Offers pre-cooked meals on rice from bain marie, or a large selection of soups (tom yum, yen tah for, quay teow, sup ghee) and other dishes. Soups are huge servings of rice noodles, mock meats, tofu and veggies in large bowls for around 35-40 baht, other dishes also around 30-40 baht. Follow the red-and-yellow Thai jae signs. Has outdoor seating. Cash only. Open Mon-Sun 6am-4pm.

Located on the main road opposite Tesco Lotus Express; about a 15 minute walk from the River Kwai Bridge. Holds Thai vegetarian/vegan cookery classes also. Cash only. Open Mon-Sun 10am-10pm.
