Lots of poor people and thin cats and dogs in Thailand, hiks. Would like to join hands and help them out? I wonder whether temples can feed and house them. Too bad we do not speak Thai. Let us know if any of you is organizing help for the people, cats, and dogs, and ELEPHANTS. We gave bottled water and foods to some people. They thanked us and looked very relieved/ happy. Hopefully they will find a place to stay and live happily real soon. Lots of them in Indonesia as well, :(. This is his gf writing.

note
Phuket may be more famous this festival, but for these 10 days in late September or October, Bangkok becomes a vegetarian and vegan delight. 10- 20% of the restaurants shift to a "J" (Chinese Vegetarian) menu. Others have vegetarian options. In the Chinese districts of Yaowarat and Talad Noi almost every restaurant makes this shift and other festivities go on as well. Bright Yellow flags signal "J" or Vegetarian.
