Guests are expected to remove shoes at the door, and only chopsticks are offered as utensil (no forks). Everything is written in Japanese, and the owner speaks only Japanese. Evening reservations for 4 or more people is possible (call). Directions: take Exit 1 and walk towards Seirei (Holy Spirit) Hospital, stay on the same side as the hospital, and restaurant is after Takigawamachi intersection, the restaurant name is written in kanji (自然庵). Moderate.

Directions: from Tsurumai subway station exit 2, cross footbridge to the other side of the large road, and walk up, keeping the Family Mart and JR Tsurumai station to your right, turn up the first street to your left (a one-way street) and walk a short way. KiHarutei is a tall white building with the characters 気晴亭 on it. Moderate.
