Limited menu, lots of drinks. Try the pita sandwich set, costs around 1000yen. Lunch only served until 14.30, after that desserts and drinks only. Open 10.30-18.30, closed Sunday. Directions: From Peace Park on Heiwa-Odori, go west away from downtown and Hiroshima Station, over two bridges, after the second bridge, turn left at the third traffic light (there's a video store on far left corner). Sweet desserts, herbal teas, and many dishes made from "garden meat," a veggie meat substitute. Small portions and light lunches throughout the day, and a few larger dinner dishes. Indoor and outdoor seating. Open Mon-Thur 11-10.30, Fri-Sat 11-11.30, Sun 11-9.30. Direction: From peace park on Heiwa-odori (peace boulevard) go west away from the park, past Hana Hotel Hiroshima and Mitsui Garden Hotel, turn left onto Chuo-Dori, continue north on Chuo-dori for about 4 blocks, and the cafe is on the left.
