Offers fixed course options from around 3300-4500 yen. Directions: Bring the Japanese address to show to people on the street in the process of getting there, exit the Tojin-machi subway stop and walk south on the street between exits #2 or 3 that is perpendicular to the main busy street, approximately 8 blocks, and then make a left, restaurant is west of the lake and south of the US Consulate. Address in Japanese 福岡市中央区大濠1.12.3 大濠パークハウス1F. Open 11:30-15:00 and 18:00-22:00.

Serves meat, veg options available. This is a casual little musubi (rice ball) restaurant. They have brown rice musubi with our without nori seaweed wrappings, and with many different fillings. They also have lunch sets, which are are two musubi, miso soup and some small vegetable dishes. Their soup stock is vegan, but some of the musubi fillings include fish so watch out. Also look out for the natural foods store on the sixth floor of the same building. Open 10am-8pm, closed Tues.

Food is on the healthy side; there are a few Japanese fried dishes, but it is mostly whole food based. Between lunch and dinner service, 14:00-17:00 is cafe time for drinks and pastries. English menu available. Casual, airy atmosphere. Prices are typical for a non-fast-food restaurant. There is also a shop area in front with some books, specialty ingredients, health supplements. The address is 福岡市南区高宮1-3-29-1F which is right along the main street which parallels the Nishitenjin line between Hirao and Takamiya stations making it relatively easy to find. Cash only. Open Tue-Sun 11:30-22:00, closed Mon and 1st Sun of month.
