Quality veggie restaurant offering a wide selection of Chinese dishes. No eggs used. Directions: Short bus or taxi ride from the Old Town. Go to the west end of the block where the Lijiang International Hotel is and you will come to a fiveways, find the police station diagonally opposite that corner on the fiveways, then walk down the street (also diagonally opposite the hotel corner) opposite side to the police station and the restaurant is a couple of shops along the way. Although it specializes in Yunnan dishes which includes meat and fish, there is a separate menu for vegetarians (no oyster sauce, some with egg). The restaurant itself is clean and in a more relaxed section of Lijiang's often bustling tourist center. Manager speaks English and is helpful in accommodating veg requests.
