When in Hong Kong please patronize the veggy restaurants. Hong Kong commercial building rents are very expensive. It is a big challenge to operate at a profit here just selling veggy food unless you own the premises - I have known many of the restaurant owners since the 80's. Often the businesses are run as "good karma generators" / "labours of love" subsidised by other trading companies. Veggie restaurants are going out of business too regularly here in Hong Kong. I estimate that there could potentially be over 70 listings on HappyCow for Hong Kong - so please enthusiastically add any that you come across & keep reviewing the ones that you visit to keep all of us up to date. Only HappyCow is relevant - all of the other online directories that I can find are many years out of date.

Kosmo is one of my favorite wellness cafe in HK.Every product here is fresh, organic, and healthy. His protein coffee is my favorite. Kosmo's nutritionist roasted the organic coffee bean and organic soy bean together to provide coffee drinker like me extra protein nutritions. I was told Kosmo promotes wellness lifesyle to his customers. So when I first saw there is a smoking area in the second floor in LKF store, I was very confused. But after I read Kosmo's instore brochure and inquired from the friendly shop assistant, I understand the wellness lifestlye Kosmo promotes is balanced life. They think wellness is about doing well, but not a prescription.I like it.: )
If you are interested, you can call the shop and get to know where it is.(852)2868 2001
By the way, there shop assistant is called Kosmo ambassador. : )

I am surprised this restaurant is not on the list. "Life" has been open about a year now, and it's absolutely fabulous - delicious, imaginative food in a pleasant setting.

Shanghai cooking was delicious. Both their locations are nice, although the Causeway Bay location is not as nice as the one in Kowloon. A good place to take non-vegetarians for dinner!
