Vegan dishes include in-house-made cassava chips, fried black bean fritters and potato fritters in a tangy tamarind chili broth topped with mango and coconut. Also serves Gujarati-style thali. Small family-owned and operated one room restaurant. Food is prepared on a tiny coal stove in front of you by the owner. Look for a paper sign on the door that reads Zanzibar Mix (veg). Located between the public gardens and marketplace. Cash only. Open Mon-Sun 10am-6:30pm.
